Make a Difference

Have you ever wanted to make a difference in the world, but didn’t know how?  What if you could support yourself and the world at the same time?  What if you could contribute to a transformation in global consciousness that embraces a balance between giving and receiving?  If this sounds attractive to you, read on, because I’m about to describe a relatively new organization that allows individuals like you and me to combine our efforts and improve not only our own lives, but our community and our world as well. 

Launched in June of 2008, Humanity Unites Brilliance (HUB) is a for-profit company that was specifically designed to provide a constant and sustainable source of funding for humanitarian efforts worldwide. Why a for-profit company as opposed to a non-profit?  It’s simple:  The non-profit business model just doesn’t work.  Because they are always operating in the red, non-profit organizations are forced to beg for money and constantly have to deal with the problem of donor-fatigue.  That’s when people like you and me find themselves on so many lists that we throw up our hands in despair and say: “I gave at the office.” 

The founders realized that if they made Humanity Unites Brilliance another non-profit, HUB would have these problems as well, so they created a whole new paradigm in business, where, not only do they fund humanitarian projects, they eliminate donor-fatigue by rewarding their members for inspiring others to help.

Humanity Unites Brilliance unites the most effective non-profit and for-benefit organizations in existence to create: “The Total Package”, consisting of Food, Water, Education and Micro-loans to help communities here in the United States and throughout the world, move from survival to sustained abundance.

It’s all about giving and receiving.  In addition to a new source of income and the ability to help others throughout the world, HUB members receive access to personal development and humanitarian education from the world’s greatest empowerment guides, inspirational educators and social change artists via tele-seminars, the web and live events.  While we are feeding the bellies of the hungry, our members’ hearts, minds and souls are being fed by luminaries such as: Dr. Michael Beckwith, Mark Victor Hansen, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Dr. Sue Morter, Robert Allen, Barbara DeAngelis, Jack Canfield, Frank Maguire, Chris and Janet Attwood, and John Gray with many more seeking to join the faculty each day.

What’s the cost?  HUB members commit to a $99 educational subscription each month. 

Of that $99: 

• 40% is given to fund our Humanitarian Impact (food, water, education and micro-loans) 
• 40% is received by our members as incentives for inspiring others to help (this eliminates donor fatigue)
• 20% is used to run the company.

Due to the present, precarious state of the global economy many HUB members and potential members, both here in the United States and in Canada are currently, themselves, in survival mode. By providing a way for us to help ourselves by helping others, Humanity Unites Brilliance allows our members, as well as the recipients of our aid, to move from survival to sustained abundance.  When viewed this way, you can see that a whopping 80% of the gross revenues from HUB’s educational subscription sales help people create abundance in their lives.

As a member of Humanity Unites Brilliance, I feel good knowing that each month my $99 feeds up to three children, educates up to three children, provides clean water for up to 10 people, environmental sustainability training for up to 16 and a partial micro-loan.  But it doesn’t stop there. I also participate in what we call “EXPONENTIAL GIVING”.  Because I inspired my friends and they inspired their friends to participate, my Impact Team has grown to over five hundred members. I feel GREAT knowing that now, my group is feeding and educating over 1500 children each day, providing clean drinking water for over 5000, sustainability education for over 8000 each month and because of my Humanity Unites brilliance team, just under 500 families will receive micro-loans each year.   I couldn’t do all this on my own, but as part of a growing group of inspired, conscious individuals, the change I can help produce, both locally and globally, is unlimited. 

Would you like to go to bed each night with a smile on your face because you know that even while you sleep you’re helping end poverty and hunger worldwide?
